Getting There
By Air
You can fly direct to Geneva from 20 British airports. Flight times vary from 75 minutes (Gatwick) to 105 minutes (Edinburgh). We can meet you and return you to Geneva. As we are very busy in winter it is important to advise us early for a quotation. If you intend to hire a car, hire on the Swiss side at Geneva airport. We can, if requested, send you accurate directions to Chalet Olga and Villa Monette. For visitors who do not bring transport we provide daily return trips to the village/skilift; we include this cost in our tariff for airport transfers.
By Car
Most drivers cross by Dover - Calais/Boulogne and Samoens is 545 miles by peage which will cost 65 euros. Again, if requested, we will send directions from Geneva which you will pass on the A40 from Bourg-en-Bresse. All fuel stations on the peages accept credit cards but be aware that automatic pumps on other roads often only accept French bank cards.
By Train
It is possible to travel by TGV from Paris to Chamonix and our nearest station is Cluses (30 minutes). This is a daily service in the season and naturally not TGV speeds from Geneva. Again, we can meet upon request.
